Join East Midlands-based photographer Dean Leivers for a creative, hands-on CPD exploring the fascinating world of cyanotype photography.
Cyanotype is a historic, camera-free photographic process that uses natural objects, light and the surrounding environment to create striking blue prints. During this practical session, you’ll have the opportunity to try the process for yourself while learning about the science and creativity behind it.
Dean will share ideas for how cyanotype can be introduced into schools and linked to different areas of the curriculum, as well as how the process can support creativity, mindfulness and wellbeing.
The session is suitable for anyone working in an education setting, including Nursery, Primary and SEND, and no previous photography or art experience is required.
