What is Captivate?

Visual stories

A one-stop shop for cultural education in Nottinghamshire.

Captivate is the Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) for Nottinghamshire, with initial focus on the areas of Ashfield and Mansfield.

Here at Captivate, we share Arts Council England’s belief that every child and young person should have access to great arts, culture and education.

Many of our providers are Arts Award Supporter - look out for the 'Counts toward Arts Award?' tag under our offerings.

We are Captivate: an ambitious transformational partnership working across arts, culture, and education. We facilitate accessible opportunities for children, young people and families to engage with high-quality arts, music, dance, theatre, and heritage.

Captivate’s primary aim is to be the central hub and gateway for education providers to access high-quality arts and cultural learning across Nottinghamshire, creating opportunities for arts and cultural experiences for children and young people and their communities.
