About Inspirations choir
Inspirations is a brand new mixed voice choir for Nottinghamshire singers in school years 4 to 8. And we are currently recruiting!
We are 100% subsidised - FREE - thanks to support via Nottinghamshire Music Hub which is funded by Arts Council England and the DfE. As a result of this continuing support we will be lucky enough to have many future opportunities to workshop with guest choir leaders and participate in performances on a professional stage. We also hope to collaborate with our senior choir, Inspired Voices, with whom we hope our junior members will join as they progress.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place on Zoom weekly throughout the academic term with Inspire Music vocal teachers Daniela Smith and Lucy Reid, with piano accompanist Elizabeth Heath.
Rehearsals take place weekly on Thursdays from 6-6.45pm. In the future we hope to also be able to rehearse face-to-face every month (during term time).
Recruitment and Registration
We welcome girls and boys who love to sing! We ask that they attend a Nottinghamshire school or are Home Schooled in the County and are in years 4-8.
